Description
The Octo Lace hairpiece offers optimal comfort and great resistance. The center of the base is composed of a microperforated tulle membrane, which allows the scalp to breathe and a polyurethane contour. We do not recommend hairstyles towards the back because of the thickness of the membrane and the rendering on the frontal line may seem unnatural. On the other hand, if you like hairstyles towards the front, it will be ideal, with the great advantage of its durability and comfort.
Sustainability
With its 0.08mm membrane on the contour of the hair prosthesis, the Octo Lace model has a lifespan of 3 to 5 months. However, some users manage to keep it for up to 6 months. Several factors can influence the lifespan of a hair prosthesis. We can notably mention the time of year. In summer with exposure to the sun, sweating and more frequent baths, the prosthesis will have a shorter lifespan. The user can in particular extend the lifespan of his complement by providing it with adequate moisturizing and repigmenting care.
Interview
Hair prosthesis maintenance should be done on average every 15 to 25 days. In summer, they will have to be done more frequently, approximately every 15 to 20 days. Some users, especially the most experienced, carry out maintenance on their own. However, this task can be complex. We recommend that you call on one of our partners or watch our tutorial videos.

How long does a hair prosthesis last?
The lifespan is fundamentally individual, as it depends on various factors, such as compliance with all recommended care routines. In general, the durability increases in the long term as you gain experience in using hair extensions. For this reason, we provide, through our salons, all useful information regarding the care of hair prostheses.
If you follow our advice and manage to adopt a good routine, you can wear a hairpiece for up to 8 months. External influences are of course also decisive: in summer, for example, the prosthesis is more stressed by sunlight or sea bathing than in winter. We remedy this with innovative care products and high hair quality.
Can the hair prosthesis come off?
No, there is no risk. But be sure to respect the deadlines indicated by our partners to carry out the maintenance of your supplement, as well as for the installation of your new hair prosthesis.
